That's why we developed the new S-Works Ares, the most efficient and strongest performance road bike shoe ever made. We have combined our body geometry knowledge with the know-how of our world's best athletes to redefine the race shoe. A completely new, patent-pending fastening system, a Dyneema® reinforced shoe sock and an ultra-stiff FACT Powerline ™ carbon outsole prevent foot movements in the shoe and reduce pressure on the tendons. The result is an outstanding power transmission and a high level of comfort in the shoe. The S-Works Ares is 1% faster than any shoe we've made before and that's what counts at the finish line.

• The key to more comfort, fewer injuries and better power transmission are our ergonomically developed and scientifically tested Body Geometry Features - longitudinal arch support, Varus wedge and customized insoles with a metatarsal button. These three features align your hip, foot, and knee while reducing lateral knee movement and maintaining adequate ventilation to your toes.
• The patent pending locking system protects the foot from extreme movements when kicking, blocks metatarsal movement and prevents lateral movements.
• Dyneema® material is sandwiched between a synthetic layer and a layer of TPU to create rock-solid areas that still hug your foot.
• Our stiffest and lightest FACT Powerline ™ carbon plate maximizes power transmission. Stiffness index: 15.
• BOA® Li2 Fit System for adjustment while driving. Backed by the BOA® guarantee.
• PadLock heel construction encloses the heel and improves the start.
