The fully integrated Specialized 1.3 engine is more powerful, has higher maximum torque, better thermal management and more efficiency than its predecessors. It is the most advanced engine ever built into an urban e-bike. The low-noise engine with our Custom Rx Street Tune is designed for urban use and provides more than enough power. The more power you put on the pedals, the more power the engine returns. Acceleration from standstill is thus fast and very efficient. The belt-driven engine runs very supple, quiet and free of disturbing vibrations. And the maximum speed? 25km / h.
A special 600 Wh battery has been developed for the Vado 5.0, which fits seamlessly into the frame, is lockable and can be easily removed to simplify charging. In other words, it gives plenty of juice to get you to work and back, to the grocery store, and even to the new café on the other side of the city. The new Turbo Connect Display (TCD-w) is the best way to display data on your Turbo. It not only displays basic metrics such as speed, cadence, power, battery level, and time, it also lets you switch between different support modes. The appearance of the display is kept very clean, without sacrificing robustness.
The latest version of the Mission Control app now offers even more features and is more intuitive to use. It lets you easily customize almost any bike variable, monitor your battery usage, control your range, do basic system diagnostics, and record and upload trips.
