Maven for Experts.

The Expert Kit includes everything you need to install your new brake system. In addition to the Maven Ultimate with Teal Splatter anodized brake calipers, you'll also find matching rotors from 180 mm to 220 mm, mounting adapters, organic/sintered brake pads, and MMX clamps. A professional bleed kit including the appropriate oil is also included in the Expert Kit.

Modern mountain bikes have significantly pushed the boundaries of what's possible in recent years. Everything has become faster, further, and steeper.
To ensure you come to a safe stop at the end of the trail, SRAM has fielded the Maven. Thanks to its monstrously large 18 and 19.5 mm diameter brake pistons, it's approximately 50% more powerful than the Code in terms of maximum braking power. This quartet is housed in a newly designed, two-piece, 4-bolt brake caliper. This features extreme rigidity and outstanding heat management, ensuring consistent, defined, and reliable braking power, even on the longest descents, from the first meter up the mountain to the bottom of the descent.
However, maximum braking power is of little use if it can't be optimally modulated. This is precisely where the SRAM Stealth brake lever with its Swinglink technology comes in. The special control of the master piston in the lever ensures a consistently progressive application of braking force across the entire lever travel. The tool-free adjustment of the lever reach and contact point makes it a perfect fit for any hand. Thanks to various pads and a wide selection of rotor sizes, you can optimally adapt the Maven to your application.
Visually, the brake, with its matte black master cylinder, blends seamlessly into the design of modern bikes. The titanium hardware also helps save some weight. To ensure the most streamlined installation possible, the master cylinder on the handlebar is compatible with SRAM's proven Matchmaker system. This allows you to mount your brake, shift lever, or your Reverb seatpost remote on a single clamp.
