The trails in our forests are fast becoming quite demanding. The perfect test environment for rugged, agile bikes like our Traverse 27.5 Carbon. The steep climbs and descents brought out some radical designs - but most importantly, they leave us in no doubt that these wheels will exceed your expectations.

Our engineers knew they wanted carbon fiber, and thanks to the zero-bead hook design, they were able to create a continuous fiber layout across the sidewall and rim base. Together with an impressive rim width of 30 millimeters, they have created a wheel that is characterized by low rolling resistance and incredible traction. Each of the 28 J-Bend spokes for the front and rear wheels have completely identical lengths, making it easy to find replacement when needed. Finally, we developed a new hub design with a wider profile and a higher flange to increase overall stiffness.
