POC's latest models in the protector line are the Joint VPD Air Knee and Joint VPD Air Elbow. The pads have been developed for mountain bikers who value minimal protection and prefer to wear light, flexible and well-ventilated pads rather than not using them or using heavy protectors. The Joint VPD Air are thinner than the top model Joint VPD 2.0 and have a non-slip neoprene insert on the inside. The elastic strap on the knee pad and the crash retention strap (CRS) on the elbow model also prevent slipping while driving.
