ATTENTION: The brake pads must be broken in to achieve optimal braking power and durability.
- Step 1: On a descent of medium steepness, alternately apply the front and rear brakes for 20-30 seconds.
Repeat this process 2-3 times. - Step 2: On a steeper descent, alternately apply both brakes for 10-15 seconds each, and end the braking with an almost complete stop.
Repeat this process 2-3 times. - Pro tip: Bed in the rear brake pads on the front wheel, just as described above. Then install the pads on the rear. Briefly apply pressure 2-3 times on a level road. Caution: Before replacing the pads, make sure they are completely cool: risk of burns!
