GENIE LEAVES NOTHING TO BE WISHED FOR: Our latest innovation is GENIE. The air damper technology that fulfills the three biggest wishes of our riders: An almost "unbreakable" air damper with the smooth ride of a steel spring - plus ultra-fine adjustability.
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS: GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a steel spring in the first 70% of the stroke with the progressive spring rate of an air spring in the last 30%. This maximizes control and avoids bottom-outs. GENIE offers the best of both worlds - steel and air spring - plus the possibility of tuning. Say goodbye to compromises. The future of trail riding is now.
BETTER SHOCK MANAGEMENT: With 16.3% better shock management than conventional air shocks, GENIE in the Stumpy 15 makes the bike ride like it has a lot more travel. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 with 145mm rear and our Enduro with 170mm both use 101mm of travel to absorb a shock force of 1080N.
MORE TRACTION: Extensive testing in the lab and on the trails has also shown that the Stumpjumper 15 with GENIE has 57% better traction properties than a conventional air-sprung shock. Our new GENIE technology offers you the smooth performance of a steel spring, which on average ensures that your rear wheel has more contact with the ground than a normal air-sprung shock. Your power is transferred better and you simply have more control.
FEWER BOTTOM-OUTS: The harder the impact, the more GENIE's "silent reserve" unfolds its full potential: In the last 30% of the travel, the damping resistance increases progressively - thus reducing the potential bottom-out frequency and intensity.
PROGRESSIVE TRAIL GEOMETRY: The geometry of this bike delivers big bike virtues on demand, a feather-light, agile steering feel in tight sections and extremely efficient climbing behavior. The central, spacious cockpit centers the rider for the best possible traction and cornering control. The low bottom bracket, the flat head tube angle and the optimized fork offset offer easy balance even in difficult terrain thanks to a lot of stability.
A FRAME FULL OF POSSIBILITIES: Six individual settings allow riders to perfectly adjust the ergonomics and efficiency of their bike to suit their preferences and terrain. The steering angle and bottom bracket height can be changed for the optimal center of gravity or the necessary ground clearance.
MULLET OR FULL 29ER: Large wheels for better rollover and more momentum or a smaller rear wheel for more playability? The choice is yours. If you want to change the combination, we offer the right rocker arm in our shop. And don't worry, the geometry and chassis characteristics remain the same.
